IVF application consists of 3 stages;
Stimulation of the ovaries
Egg collection and fertilization
Embryo transfer
Pregnancy test:
12 days after the embryo transfer, blood pregnancy test (Beta-hCG) is performed to determine whether pregnancy. If the test is positive, the test is repeated after two days. The initial value is expected to increase approximately twice within two days. Menstruation does not mean that pregnancy does not occur. A gestational sac may be seen 3 weeks after the transfer.
Success in Treatment:
In vitro fertilization is never a 100% effective method. One of the most important factors determining success is female age. Therefore, after deciding on IVF treatment, treatment should be performed immediately. In cases where the result of treatment is negative, it should never be despaired. As long as there are eggs in the woman and sperm in the man, there is always a chance of pregnancy.
Freezing Process
If enough embryos of sufficient quality and quality remain after the transfer, they can be filled. In addition, with the change in the in vitro fertilization regulations, the need for chemotherapy in married or unmarried individuals (such as the need for chemotherapy without having the desired number of children in women and men, reduced ovarian reserve, the need for surgical removal of gonads (testes or ovaries)), sperm and testis tissue can be frozen.
